Bryon Baker is a Principal AI Solution Architect at Red Hat, specialising in enterprise AI, AI/ML platforms, Kubernetes, OpenShift and emerging agentic AI architectures. Based in Melbourne and working across Asia Pacific, Bryon helps organisations translate rapidly evolving AI technologies into secure, scalable and production-ready platforms.

An active contributor to open source AI projects and a regular technical blogger and speaker, Bryon is particularly interested in the intersection of AI, cloud-native infrastructure, security and enterprise architecture. His work spans generative AI, retrieval-augmented generation, model serving, MLOps, GPU-accelerated infrastructure and the design of trusted agentic AI systems. In 2024, he received the Red Hat Chairman's Award.

Bryon has more than three decades of technology experience across engineering, architecture, consulting, product management and business leadership. Before joining Red Hat, his career included senior roles at National Australia Bank, Rational Software and IBM in the United States, Ivar Jacobson International, and Siemens Research in the United Kingdom. He also founded and ran an Australian technology consultancy.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, Computer Science and Information Systems from Deakin University. Outside technology, Bryon is a musician and keen guitarist, and enjoys renovating and sea kayaking.
