Rhys Weekley is the Chief Technology & AI Officer at Australia Post, responsible for technology strategy, enterprise architecture, software engineering and technology innovation, as well as its central data and AI functions.

Rhys joined Post in 2023 as General Manager for Data & AI Services, leading creation of its first holistic enterprise Data & AI Strategy and driving execution of its transformation, which has created solid foundations in data, technology, and governance and enabled Australia Post to capitalise on recent advancements in AI.

Prior to Australia Post, Rhys spent 15 years at Credit Suisse in Europe, working across Zurich and London. During this time, he held senior roles spanning cloud architecture, machine learning platforms, strategic data programs and large scale engineering leadership.

Rhys is known for driving strategic technology transformation, building high performing teams, and translating AI and data capabilities into meaningful business outcomes, aligned to purpose.

He studied business and computing at the University of Technology Sydney and completed further studies in advanced computing and artificial intelligence at the University of London.
